Superyacht MY BIG FISH is a newly built 45m (147′ 7″) LOA expedition (explorer) type steel displacement luxury motor yacht. She was designed by Greg Marshall Design and built by McMullen & Wing in Auckland, New Zealand, where she is scheduled to be launched next week. The luxury Explorer yacht will be available for South Pacific luxury yacht charters as well as location further afield.

Powerfully styled, the expedition motor yacht MY BIG FISH is a mariner’s yacht – a modern blue water exploration superyacht, in both design and build.

The philosophy behind the creation of Big Fish concerns the concept that the ideal luxury expedition yacht should be capable of achieving certain key requirements. These include transporting the yacht owners, guests and crew to any ocean safely, securely and comfortably, and then being able to remain on station for extended periods of time.

This explorer motor yacht can mange the logistics required of long range ocean exploration and she can accommodate the requisite stores of fuel, water, consumables, specialised cargo and supplies. MY BIG FISH can carry medicine, books or building supplies to remote villages. Alternatively, she can store scientific and oceanographic equipment or laboratory on a voyage of exploration.

Designed for peripheral equipment and water toys the superyacht holds a 28 ft a 300 mile range customised McMullen & Wing tender.
Luxury motor yacht MY BIG FISH is a successful collaboration between yacht’s owners, Greg Marshall Design and McMullen & Wing – a partnership which has been successful in the past.

Luxury yacht MY BIG FISH’s charter accommodation consists of five double staterooms, all with ensuite facilities. She can sleep a maximum of 10 guests overnight and the guest cabins on the Main deck can be converted into two VIP suites as a wall disappears and beds fold back against the wall.
