Turkish shipyard Mengi Yay have announced the launch of 47.5m (154’2”) superyacht SERENISSIMA I who is now set to commence her sea trials before making her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

She features naval architecture from Van Oossanen with exterior and interior design by Nuvolari Lenard. Her 499GT volume and 8.85m beam supports a five-stateroom layout to accommodate up to ten guests with additional living quarters and cabins for nine crew member.

The yacht has been designed to meet the owner’s requirements and boasts a private owners’ deck with its own jacuzzi and exterior terrace. Highlights of the guest exterior deck spaces include a large jacuzzi on the sun deck, fire pit and lounge plus a professional boxing ring which can be quickly assembled on the foredeck. Inside there is a gentleman’s lounge with a cinema room and walk-in wine cellar and a traditional main salon and dining room leading onto the aft deck and into the interior guest lobby.

Performance comes from twin Caterpillar engines which deliver a top speed of 17 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots.
