From Turkey comes news that Mengi Yay Yachts have delivered 47.2m (154’9”) superyacht ANCORA marking the 100th yacht built by the shipyard and the third in their Virtus 47. She is a collaboration between Ginton Naval Architects, exterior designer VYD Studio and interior craftsman Robert Trown & Associates.
A representative from the sales brokerage said, “It was a joint effort … and exemplifies the exceptional quality that Mengi Yay consistently delivers.”
She can accommodate up to 10 guests across her five staterooms including a master with private terraces, with additional cabins for the nine crew members. There is an expansive main salon and generous sky lounge each furnished with plenty of seating for guests to choose from.
On-deck features include a sundeck plunge pool, a sheltered cockpit with stern-facing seating, fixed sunpads on the bow for sunbathing and a beach club with an unfolding transom and opening balconies.
Power comes from twin Caterpillar engines and delivers a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 3,100 nautical miles.
