Companies that will be exhibiting in the SuperYacht Pavilion at this year’s METS have been provided with details of the fresh and innovative new uniform stand designs for this dedicated part of the show. The first reactions have been very positive. The SuperYacht Pavilion at METS represents the central platform for the worldwide superyacht industry and has become a destination in its own right for many visitors. METS 2014 will take place from 18 to 20 November in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre.
Since its inauguration several years ago as a distinctive zone at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), the SuperYacht Pavilion has gone from strength to strength. Leading companies involved in design and construction activities and products related to this exclusive segment of the leisure maritime world have seen the value of exhibiting together. The 2014 pavilion will again welcome ten percent more exhibitors compared to 2013 as the year-on-year growth shows no sign of abating.
In response to the increasing popularity of the SuperYacht Pavilion and its associated educational & social networking programmes, the organisers of METS decided to give the entire hall a new uniform design. “The first reaction of exhibitors and partners alike has been very positive,” comments Amsterdam RAI’s maritime domain manager Irene Dros.
“The new stand design has been based upon the specific wishes of exhibitors. It provides for more open spaces and generates a stylish look & feel that reflects the unique nature of the superyacht sector. At the same time we will maintain the uniform ambience, ensuring that the attention remains primarily focused on products and networking.”
