Following the sale of luxury yacht M60 a few months ago, MONDO MARINE SHIPYARD is proud to announce the sale of the new motor yacht Project SF40. Superyacht SF40 represents another semi-displacement project by Mondo Marine Engineering, penned by Luca Vallebona for SF Yachts. The first SF40 is scheduled for delivery at the end of summer 2015.
New Mondo Marine superyacht Project SF40
With an overall length of 41.50m, an overall beam of 8.80m, as well as aluminium hull and superstructure, luxury yacht SF40 will reach a maximum speed of 16 knots.
SF40 yacht is the first unit of the Mondo Marine SF line, a new concept born to provide a clean and well-balanced design together with a new conception of internal and external volumes and layout. Themes like space and its flow as well as a general balance within the profile are at the core of this choice.

Four guest cabins on the lower deck and an owner cabin on the main deck with unusual dimensions and layout. Special attention to the position and privacy of the Owner cabin motivates its unusual layout on two semi-levels, each with its own specific connotation: the upper part fully immersed in the surroundings, with a panoramic open view to the fore and to the lower area, more intimate and private, with light coming from the top and from the sides to convey this space a relaxing and hideaway sense. This “breakaway and innovative” design stands out from what so far has been considered a fundamental layout principle so that exterior lines were the only element that the majority of existing boats could distinguish themselves on.
Each part of the SF40 superyacht has been conceived both individually and in relation to the others so to provide a flow of aesthetic continuity and functionality where the eye is not hit by any ‘predominant’ element but it’s instead attracted by an harmoniously calibrated combination of elegant elements.

The distinctively clean exterior and interior lines produce a timeless sense of luxury fairly immune from the influence of fashion and very focused on the enjoyment of the ambient and on the rediscovery of the essence of travel, adventure and discretion without any ostentation.
The sale of SF40 yacht was conducted by SF Yachts, Mondo Marine Exclusive Dealer for the Middle East. This project will be presented at the Mondo Marine stand during the next Dubai yacht show.
Mondo Marine designs and builds its Super Yachts in its Savona yard. The shipyard extends on a seafront of 35.500sqm of which 9.500sqm under cover. It provides a 100m jetty for Maxi Yacht mooring, a 820 ton travel-lift and a 300 ton trolley.

In the last 7 years Mondo Marine has delivered 10 yachts over 40m and 6 over 50m mostly for celebrity Clients, including the environmentally committed Owner of charter yacht Tribù, the first to be awarded RINa Green Star certificate.
Mondo Marine production goes right from the cutting of the hull sheets, exporting the Yard commitment to excellence and the Italian excellence worldwide. The Savona shipyard, increasingly coming to the international forefront, now is also member of SYBAss (Superyacht Builder Association) founded in 2007 to represent the world’s leading builders of large yachts.
