Mondo Marine built motor yacht Manifiq is a 40.5 metre Cor D. Rover designed luxury charter yacht featuring stunning and elegant interior by the Italian designer Luca Dini. Motor yacht Manifiq was launched in May 2010 and offers accommodation to her charter guests in one Owner’s and four guests staterooms.
Manifiq luxury charter yacht had a very unique design process, as explained by her interior designer Luca Dini. The information received were few, the only kind of declaration of aims was: elegance, precious materials, extreme care, harmony, detail and comfort.
The development of these ideas has led to a soft neo déco atmosphere, smart, eclectic and delightfully vain. After some minimal and spectacular interiors it was nice to look in the warmth, in the harmonious fusion of different suggestions, perhaps richer in décor, but absolutely sophisticated.
The materials, though declined with a modern language, are Art Deco, precious and glossy exotic wood, leather, horn, mother of pearl, chrome, marble, lacquer, all deliberately-marked.
Lines mark and articulate each element of the superyacht Manifiq, from the squares of the doors of cabinets and furniture, to the trims that enclose the sides of the halls and make volumetric treatment of many panels, to the staves that follow us in each room, to the cornices, the rhombus and even to the two vertical stripes on the curtains.
The care taken in defining any particular detail can be read at a glance overview.
In each cabin on the lower deck the same intents are modulated with different colors and grains: the carpet, ivory, and the ceilings in alcantara, light dove-color, light up and contain the ebony skin and vertical surfaces, marked with horizontal staves alternated with recessed chrome trims.
The workmanship of the doors and cabinet doors, thickly decked, makes the light tremble and attracts the eye, the decoration of diamond mirrors multiplies the curiosity, the softness of the working of the headboard relaxes.
Mondomarine M/Y MANIFIQ features beds all upholstered in leather and “ringed” by two curved strips of stainless steel chrome.
Particular care was taken to differentiate then each cabin with the use of fabrics, lamps and other accessories, a large number of pillows to amplify the feeling of an elegant richness. The criterion of choice has led to match them with a bit of boldness, never coordinated, often accepting contrasts between bright and dull, rough and smooth, simple and complex, all in order to emphasize the special effect.
In every bathroom of the Motor Yacht Manifiq we used two marbles, and maintained the rhythm of staves and recessed trims. Fittings and accessories have geometric lines, but “curvy”, “luxurious”, “aristocratic” and exclusive. The showers, in marble, are protected and enclosed by glass doors with brushed decoration in diamonds that reveal details but ensure privacy.
Manifiq’s master suite collects and brings all the ideas proposed in the lower deck. Entering, the beautiful row of windows makes light flood the long and well-structured top that features a desk, two small tables and a déco charmed sofa. Ebony rises and falls, bends and curves until it reaches the wall that divides the forward cabin from the bathroom. Small slatted frames show the change of levels of the ceiling. Lacquered wood worked panels flank the big recessed television. Fabrics modulate various patterns and textures, they mix gray, brown, dove-color, “taupe” and black.
On the left, toward centreship, behind a wall in tobacco-colored squares of antiqued leather with inset circular handle, that recalls last century wardrobe suitcases, is one of the dressing rooms. Like all those requested on board of the yacht Manifiq is completely covered with ebony, shelves and drawers have wooden shutters and transparent plexiglass to protect but allow easy content management. The chromium plated rods provide ample space for both short and long dresses and large framed mirrors complete the functionality of these environments.
Mondomarine Superyacht Manifiq’s main deck salon of houses the dining area, a conversation area and, opened to the aft cockpit and looking to the sea, a corner for contemplation and relax. All these functions and atmospheres blend together for their functional arrangement, desired by the owner, and for the reflections sparked off by the fwd bulkhead, antique mirror and strips of ebony in a diamond pattern, which can at the same time multiply and fragment the view in thousands of little suggestive glances.
The cinema planned for the upper deck salon was requested by the owner. The blackout is total and completely automated, a video projector with canvas, both totally disappearing in the ceiling, and a 60 ‘ television, ensure quality and versatility of vision. Ten comfortable armchairs, of beautiful déco line, are harmonically settled and served by small polished stainless steel tables, custom designed by Luca Dini as many pieces on board. The presence of small table lamps lit where necessary together with the possibility to provide a different arrangement of the armchairs in little groups gives to this area a “club house” atmosphere.
Even the service areas of the Mondomarine yacht Manifiq have been studied with special care and, where possible, materials and atmospheres have been harmonized with those of the guest area.
The outdoor furniture, freestanding wherever possible to ensure extreme versatility of use, are elegant and modern in lines, braided dark brown with slight rust lines that recall the Macassar ebony. To expand and merge indoor and outdoor spaces the designer Luca Dini chose to use rich decorative cushions for all the exterior and ebony for the dining area of the upper deck.
A bar with a buffet, the convivial extensible round table with lazy susy, finished with precious polished stainless steel details, make the yacht Manifiq’s upper deck aft cockpit a space suitable not only for quick snacks during the day, but also for formal and elegant gala occasions .
The layout of the Fly deck has been chosen with a hot tub in the aft area, a bar with stools in the centre and a relaxation area at the bow. The composition of chairs and tables can be reconfigured to transform a large comfortable lounge in a solarium.
A great part of the accessories, the table supplies, the ambient perfume, bed, bath and table linens have been selected and detailed by Luca Dini’s Studio together with the owner and this allowed harmony and consistency of style on board of this spectacular and truly luxurious charter yacht Manifiq.
