Italian shipbuilder Mondomarine, a part of the Palumbo Group, has released new images of the luxury yacht DISCOVERY 57, the second largest model of four within the DISCOVERY series.
Created as a compact expedition yacht, the DISCOVERY series comes in a 40 50 57 and 75-metre lengths to complement the existing CLASSIC line in 43, 50 and 63 metres.
The DISCOVERY 57 is constructed entirely of aluminium and was designed by Luca Dini Design to be elegant, sporty and dynamic, incorporating well-proportioned exterior spaces into her silhouette. As an expedition yacht, emphasis has been placed on providing unmitigated views of the surroundings through the broad windows, which in turn flood the interiors with natural lighting for inviting interiors across the decks.
The hull colour is described as ‘blue petroleum’ and is designed to blend with the seascape harmoniously. The latest technology is installed on board to ensure the utmost comfort, stability and safety.
Among the design features are two flush deck swimming pools placed on the main deck aft and sundeck respectively. The bow has the option of being shaded by a canvas or exposed as a private alfresco lounge, while above there is a broad sunbed in front of the helm station. To the aft, the main deck, upper deck and sundeck all treat guests to an abundance of sun loungers and outdoor lounge settings comprised of sofas and coffee tables.
There is also a generous beach club, and two different layouts for the main deck allow the Owner to choose between giving the entire forward area to the Master suite or adding a VIP stateroom to starboard.
In addition to the man deck accommodation, there are four en-suite cabins on the lower deck as well as six cabins for the crew, while the Captain’s cabin is located on the upper deck.
