Monte Carlo Yachts accelerates the pace of its development plan and the Beneteau Group announces the production of new ranges in Italy.
Monte Carlo Yachts has announced the expansion of its production site in the Monfalcone marine centre. Monte Carlo Yachts, which belongs to the French Beneteau Group, is forging ahead with its strategy despite the unfavourable international economic context and strengthening it with a far-reaching investment. Monte Carlo Yachts has in fact purchased the extremely modern works adjoining its production centre from Seaway Technologies.
“We are equipping ourselves with a facility that represents the state of the art in yacht production, outfitted with the best technologies available, including a 46-metre milling cutter unmatched anywhere in the world and a spray booth for the latest generation of megayachts,” commented Monte Carlo Yachts President Carla Demaria.
Seaway Technologies is an Italian company belonging to Slovenia’s Seaway Group, in the vanguard in the design, prototyping and application of new technologies in the yachting environment.
The agreement between Monte Carlo Yachts and Seaway was facilitated by the positive collaboration that links the two companies. The Beneteau Group in fact has relations with Seaway that stretch back over a decade and is its leading commercial partner. The cooperation also extended to Monte Carlo Yachts, so much so that the MCY 76 yacht was actually built in the works that have now been acquired.
This investment is functional to the strategy of the Group, which has chosen Monfalcone as its exclusive site for the production of large motor craft. In addition to Monte Carlo Yachts, new ranges will soon be realised, confirming the strong synergy with the French parent company.
