It has been a busy start to the year for the prominent Dutch luxury yacht builder Moonen as they work on a range of amazing yacht projects. The company is also preparing for the Miami Boat Show 2013, with the magnificent Moonen 97 motor yacht Sofia II on display, to be docked at ramp 15, berth 321A. The event will take place from February 14 to 18.
The owner of the lovely Sofia II yacht has now put her up for sale and Moonen would welcome the opportunity to show the visitors to the Miami Boat Show this splendid example of Moonen quality. Her sister ship, superyacht Livia, was a finalist in the World Superyacht Awards, where the jury praised the way these displacement cruisers combine premium standards of comfort with engineering excellence.

Moonen has also lots of interesting news to share in Miami. The only reason that the owner of luxury yacht Sofia II is selling his prized possession is because he will soon take delivery of a brand-new 42-metre custom motor yacht Sofia III. Everyone at the yard has enjoyed working on the largest Moonen to date and Moonen would love to tell the visitors more about its three-seater submarine.
Another fascinating project Moonen could discuss that is currently under construction is the first ever Moonen 100 Explorer yacht YN195. When one adds in Moonen recent successes in the fast displacement category – perhaps he saw the great reviews for the Moonen 82 Alu yacht My Way – it is clear that Moonen has the diversity on offer to suit every taste.
