Dutch shipyard Moonen has announced the construction of a new 36m/118ft luxury yacht, HULL YN199, with the keel-laying ceremony taking place on the 14th of December 2018.
HULL YN199 is the second yacht to be built on the 36-metre Martinique platform, the first being luxury yacht BRIGADOON that was launched in summer 2018.
The latest Martinique has naval architecture from René van der Velden in collaboration with Diana Yacht Design, and the former designer was also responsible for her exteriors. London-based Studio Indigo is responsible for designing her interiors, who will work in collaboration with the future owner to personalise each area.
Her layout offers two salons, numerous outdoor lounging and dining areas and a wet bar on the sundeck. In addition, her spacious accommodation ensures that the 12 guests have a comfortable night’s rest with seven crew to ensure smooth operations throughout every journey.
The twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines give her a top speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles.
HULL YN199 is currently available for sale and has an expected delivery for early spring 2020.
