The Austrian design studio Motion Code: Blue have unveiled their latest 50 metre motor yacht design – the MY 50M MC:B Superyacht. The unique and revolutionary 50-metre motor yacht is available upon request and boasts great potential to become an excellent and eye-catching charter yacht.
The main aim of the design was to develop a trend setting and unique shape to revolutionise today’s super yacht design by its modern appearance. The 50M MC:B yacht is meant to be long lasting, elegant and eye-catching.
The design studio and their client want to reach a modern, design oriented target group wanting to set themselves apart from the mass.
When the managing directors of mc:b had their first meeting with their clients, they said: “We want a stunning design. If the yacht appears at Port Hercules in monaco, everyone should be overwhelmed. Design something like this”.
So the design studio developed a revolutionary concept, which goes hand in hand with their core design philosophy: most advanced, yet acceptable.
Straight lines, automotive shapes and a wave piercing stem design are the main characteristics of the motor yacht MC:B 50M
For the designers, it was very important to develop a sporty, coupe’-like design with no additive deck arrangement by stapling deck over deck. The so called cake-effect should be avoided. Nevertheless it was necessary that the yacht provides the full interior space and its common amenities on all 4 decks.
In order to manage this, motion code: blue developed the so called “C-bracket” a leading and very distinctive design element.
The bracket starts on the fore deck, stretches the side view of the yacht optically and spans a bow up to the upper deck.
This innovative 50m mc:b yacht design feature enables a modern, integrative deck arrangement and the vessel appears very automotive, compact and sporty but also impressive and powerful from the rear side.
“The rear view and the stern section is one of the most important issues when you design a yacht, you have to appear bigger and wider than your neighbour at port, even when you have the same length”, say Christian Gumpold and Christopher Gloning, managing directors of motion code: blue.
Additionally the studio developed different stem designs to let potential customers decide the grade of progressiveness they want to give their new MC:B 50m yacht.
There is a wide range from positive over vertical to negative stem designs possible. the overall appearance of the yacht is always unique.
The innovative exterior design concept can be seen in the interior as well. the owners loft on the upper deck and a large private terrace are trend setting in this market segment..a pool on the fore deck and a spa pool on the flybridge allow a maximum of relaxation.
The optional heli pad guarantees quick arrivals and departures.
The concept is currently developed further on, so keep following us for more information and images.
