Mariotti Yachts have introduced their 54m superyacht RAHIL at the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show. Motor yacht RAHIL, a custom built displacement megayacht was introduced to the press by Mr. Marco Bisagno, Chairman of Mariotti Yachts, and designer Mr. Luca Dini, who also worked with Mariotti Yachts on the award winning 54m motor yacht Sea Force One, delivered in 2008 and the first yacht certified by RINA.
At the core of the project was a vision shared by Mariotti Yachts and the Owner. M/Y Rahil embodies taste and style and enables guests to enjoy the sea with charm and sophistication. She is built with material among the most luxurious in the world which is blended with great attention to detail and chromatic sensitivity. Designed with stunning outdoor spaces, she is also a fast yacht that can reach a speed of 18 knots.
The know-how employed to offer guests the best balance between wellness and an astonishing contact with the sea gained the yacht the RINA ‘comfort class’ certificate.
The Rahil motor yacht mirrors Mariotti Yachts’ production philosophy that combines the allure and detail required by a megayacht with the technical complexity expected from a ship. Although RAHIL was built for a private Owner, she would make an excellent charter yacht.
Yacht RAHIL’s interiors are enhanced by a particular choice of materials: wood (teak, wengé and oak), leather, nubuck and linen selected from the collections of Loro Piana, Dedar and Minotti following warm earth, sand and natural stone tones with precious decorations made of gold foil and black and white mother of pearl.
Teak and wengé essences alternate in the paneling of walls and furniture, made sensuous by a wise use of light, indirect as a decoration or direct to make precious the most impressive aspects.
The wonder inspired by the golden foil welcomes guests in the main salon with a central element completely covered and comes again with a 3D effect in the foyer with a custom leather stair made by Foglizzo.
The Owner’s area onboard the RAHIL yacht features a central sky light creating light zones on the ceiling and two magnificent balconies with huge tranparent glass giving the feeling of a direct contact with the sea.
Guest cabins feature a consistent choice of materials but differentiate with shades of their selected fabrics, linen and coloured fresh cottons. Bathrooms show sharp shaped geometries that are made of marble with steel details.
Gold, bronze and resin details are inserted in the wood panelling throughout the yacht.
The Upper deck salon expresses personality with poppain nubuck, the bar in Silk Georgette stone, a sculpture table with crystal glass and a very unusual steel structure making a contrast with the acid green color of its velvet chairs.
The bridge has wonderful visibility and takes its shape around the central chart table with grey oak wood furnitures, blue leather walls, blue alcantare ceiling and black wengè on the floor, fully expressing Rahil’s elegance.
Motor yacht Rahil’s exterior spaces contain freestanding furniture with round comfortable shapes.
On the main deck a big custom sand colored sofa and two laced armchairs harmonious with the superstructure tonality.
On the upper deck a cozy lounge, really a salon on the sea. Within the same area a large table that comfortably seats 12 guests and is made of teak and mother of pearl echoing the details found in the interior.
The Sun deck of M/Y RAHIL is marked by a scenic Spa Pool with a large sunbathing area and a big white bar with dark brown stone, the same tones chosen for the freestanding furnishing of the area create a relaxing ambiance.
On the aft of the sun deck a wide and deep U shaped sofa, conceived by the designer, frames the skyline giving guests a breath taking view.
