Turkish refit company, KRM Yacht, is currently working on a major refit of the 32-metre motor yacht Corona (ex Jetaime Too). Superyacht Corona is a lovely 32-metre wooden motor yacht, originally launched by Bilgin shipyard in 2008.
Luxury yacht Corona was sold to a Florida-based company in October 2014. New owner wished to give her a new look and started to search all the refit companies in Turkey, Greece and Italy. After 4 months long research, the company decided to undertake this project in KRM yacht refit & repair shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey. There are currently 6 refit projects underway at KRM. Three of these were built by Bilgin shipyard.
The owner of super yacht Corona has commissioned the Turkish company for the following work: painting of the hull and superstructure with Awl-grip; changing of all interior upholstery, mattresses and curtains; changing of all exterior upholstery; repairing of propulsion system; the 5-year survey and maintenance of main engines and gensets.
KRM yacht refit repair company completed 14 refit projects last 3 years with its experienced engineers, craftmen and carefully hand-picked subcontractors. The company has the in-house engineering, design, paint, carpentry, hydraulic, plumbery and mechanic services. KRM represents the first and only yacht company specializing in refit services in Turkey.
