The 42,5m motor yacht Essence design is a new superyacht design that will be presented by Kingship at the upcoming 2011 Monaco Yacht Show. Kingship worked together with designer Horacio Bozzo of Axis Group Yacht Design to produce an unprecedented yacht design which is the first yacht of her size to have a completely private Owner’s deck and an 180゚ forward-facing panoramic view.
The Superyacht Essence project boasts a full-beam owner’s suite on the upper deck. The suite includes a private independent terrace featuring a shaded seating area and a totally exclusive sunbathing area, an al-fresco dining area at the aft and a sliding roof in the main cabin where the owners can enjoy outstanding views while lying in bed.
The ‘essence’ of motor yacht Essence design is not limited to the luxurious owner’s suite but is also evident in other areas such as the efficient use of onboard space which plays an important role. External ventilation trunks and a split main deck layout are just two of the innovative solutions that have been designed to maximize spaces.
The bridge is located on the main deck of M/Y Essence where the captain can have efficient operation over docking and tender launching. The bridge is also connected to the galley and crew quarters directly which allows the crew to deliver quality services to owners and guests. On the foredeck, the tender and its launching systems are installed underneath the huge sun lounges which is another excellent se of space. Owners and guests can then have easy access to water sports from the aft swim platform.
Kingship Yacht Essence has a full displacement hull powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines with a cruising speed of 15 knots and trans-pacific range. She is able to accommodate 2 Owners, 8 guests and 8 crew members. This 42.5m motor yacht Essence will be built in compliance with the RINA Green Plus notation and MCA.
