Owned by Italian enterpreneur Leonardo Ferragamo, Camper & Nicholsons Yachting from England has expanded the range of its day cruisers by presenting the new 60 and 80 models, including motor yacht Gelyce 80. The name of superyacht Gelyce derives from the well known series of C&NY fast commuters, constructed in the 1930’s to give support to the J Class that partipated in the America’s Cup.
“Gelyce 80” yacht lay out is featuring one large owner double cabin and two double bed guest cabin, all with ensuite bathrooms. Forward to the cabins there are a spacious kitchen and a dinette, while at extreme fore there are two crew cabins, each one with two bunk beds and a bathroom. On main deck there are a very large living and dining room and the steering station in the covered cockpit, while externally there is a covered cockpit equipped with very comfortable settees and an aft sunbed.
Forward to the superstructure a recessed cockpit equipped with cushions, tables, a retractable windscreen and a foldable canopy will allow to enjoy this part of the boat either as a sunbed area or a place to enjoy the breeze and the shadow or where to spend the evening under the moonlight.
Luxury yacht “Gelyce 80” features a deep “V” planning hull design, incorporating resin infusion laminating system, to ensure outstanding sea qualities, as well as low fuel consumption. The boat has an overall length of 23,65m or 78’ ft, and has two engine options, one for long range (MAN V8 – 1000/735 kW) with a cruising speed of 22 knots, and one which is more powerful for fast range (Caterpillar C32 – 1622/1193 kW) with a cruising speed of 32 knots. A garage, under the sundeck area aft, is containing the 3,20 mt. tender to “Gelyce 80”.
