Nobiskrug’s motor yacht SAPPHIRE (built under hull 781) is a 73.50 steel displacement vessel launched in 2011. The Sapphire superyacht was built by Nobiskrug is a masterpiece that combines the talents of designers and naval architects Frank E. H. Neubelt and Roland Krueger with interior architecture of Katharina Raczek, all from the German design house NEWCRUISE. Charter yacht Sapphire was delivered to her owners in April 2011 in time for the busy superyacht summer in the Mediterranean.
SAPPHIRE is impressively large and spacious. Her first class design and layout featuring timeless and elegant long straight lines interspaced with sweeping gentle curves means she really does offer everything, both inside and outside. She has a multi-functional layout containing many outstanding innovations.
Special attention was given to the development of her hull lines and naval architecture and the careful matching of equipment to give motor yacht Sapphire a comfortable cruise speed of 15 knots and maximum speed of 17 knots powered by twin 2,360hp MTU diesel engines with a range of over 5,000 nautical miles. She is equipped with zero speed stabilisers and contains large tender garages on port and starboard.
NEWCRUISE follows their in-house design philosophy of well-balanced inside – outside design themes which reflect a real masterpiece full of character in all aspects from the Interior to the Exterior and back.
The very carefully created arrangement plan on the Sapphire yacht offers a full-width owners apartment plus four amazing guest cabins, a beach club, an upper deck superior cabin, a sky lounge and a cinema.
The interior styling consists of modernism inspired by Art Deco whichfeatures clean and pure lines underlined by very strong light and dark contrasts and very elaborate details reflected in all aspects of the interior, furnishing and accessories. The muted schemes reflect the palette of clear and mellowed blue tones, which are a tribute to the name of the yacht
One very spectacular features onboard motor yacht motor yacht Sapphire is the aft folding “Touch+Go” Heli-Pad, which becomes a giant balcony above the sea and can also be used as a sunbathing area or as a stage and dance-floor for sunset partying.
The sun-deck has large “lounge” style sun-beds aft in order to provide all comfort to watch a real outdoor cinema while a huge Spa Pool and bar area invites guests to relax at the forward deck or bask in the sun on generous cushions.
A great deal of attention has been taken in the design of the exceptional outdoor illumination. Sapphire excites with an exquisite and stunning “Night-Time Look” highlighting her lines and her furniture while she literally floats on a bed of light courtesy of her underwater array.
