M/Y TV is a 78.33m (256′ 11″) Lurssen built and Espen Oeimo designed steel full displacement high volume luxury yacht which was launched in Germany in 2008. Some may know yacht TV from her former name Madsummer. Her interior design was created by Alberto Pinto is clean and fresh, yet colourful and ambient. The TV yacht has a full owner suite which is situated forward on the yacht (for panoramic views) in the owner’s deck with a king sized bed and his & hers ensuite bathroom and an owner’s office and private balcony and Spa Pool area to forward.
While TV offers intimate privacy if desired, she has been specifically designed by Espen Oeimo for the socialising and entertainment of a large number of guests. The luxury yacht also offers plenty of space for different uses in her various salons, dining and relaxation areas, and an indoor cinema can also be converted into a children’s playroom where required.
Superyacht TV’s sundeck area features a large outside Spa Pool pool with a capacity of 16 persons and a contra flow swimming pool. The yacht’s lower deck accommodates a health spa facility including a beauty salon, a sauna and massage room and a fully equipped gymnasium for health and fitness. This dedicated health and spa area expands onto a large fold-down sea terrace on the aft. This means charter guests are able to easily relocate from swimming in the ocean to relaxing in the sauna or to receiving massage treatments or to enjoying the hammam and indoor / outdoor gym activities.
The charter rate for yacht TV in the Caribbean for 2010/2011 is $850,000 per week, MYBA Terms. Indeed, at the time of writing TV is still available for Christmas new year period in the Caribbean as she is just brand new to the charter market. The superyacht will also cruise the Mediterranean charter destinations, such as France, Italy, Monaco, Sardinia & Corsica during the summer months and will be available for charter holidays there at a rate of €850,000 per week, MYBA Terms.
