The 50m/161ft luxury yacht VICTORIA DEL MAR has had an update to her interiors and exteriors to have her looking like new in time for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year in the Bahamas & Caribbean charter grounds.
Launched in 2006 and carefully maintained over the years, M/Y VICTORIA DEL MAR boasts original artwork by Andy Warhol, Elsworth Kelly and Joan Miro within understated interiors by Claudette Bonville Associates, the centrepiece being a blown-glass chandelier in the formal dining area. The main salon and sky lounge have an abundance of seating for the group to split up into separate conversations, however, the latter location also has the benefits of a well-stocked bar, a widescreen TV and a game table.
There is an extensive gym onboard for keeping active while cruising, which can be converted into a spa massage room instead. A lift (elevator) connects the decks and there is wheelchair access so that no one is left out of the activities.
Outside, there is a wealth of facilities to keep guests entertained and satisfied: An extensive list of water toys, an alfresco cinema and a sundeck Jacuzzi as well as plenty of alfresco dining options will lure guests out into the sunshine for spectacular views of Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda, or pink sand beaches such as Harbor Island.
The stately accommodation sleeps a total of 12 guests over 7 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. The bridge deck Master suite, in particular, offers a sheltered semi-private air-conditioned outdoor space with removable windows and stairways that provide direct access to the main deck aft and sundeck aft.
