Mourjan Marinas IGY, the manager of luxury marinas yachting charter destinations, today reported a strategic partnership with Marina Barcelona 92 (MB′92), a Barcelona-based operator of marinas, to manage the branding, sales and marketing of the high-end Port Tarraco Marina in north eastern Spain.
Mourjan Marinas IGY will deliver the global marketing expertise with a dedicated sales and marketing team to support MB′92, who is the new management company of Port Tarraco The Port Tarraco Marina, which is located approximately 95 kilometres south of Barcelona inTarragona, provides ideal proximity to major cruising destinations in the western Mediterranean.
The marina offers 64 deep-water berths ranging from 30 to 160 metres and is exclusively designed for super, mega and giga yachts.

Located on Spain’s Costa Dorada, otherwise known as the “Golden Coast”, the marina offers a chance to explore the rich local Catalonian culture, the area’s many beaches, mountains for hiking or skiing and the nearby cosmopolitan cities of Barcelona and Madrid.
It is also in close proximity to a large capacity airfield, and with its central location and easy access to all major cruising destinations in the western Mediterranean, Port Tarraco Marina presents an attractive destination for boating enthusiasts from across the globe.
The purchase of the marina was made from vendor International Marina Tarragona S.L., a Spanish marina operator, through Qatari Diar Marina Tarragona (QDMT), a joint venture between QATARI DIAR and MB′92 (with 95 per cent representation by QATARI DIAR and 5 percent by MB′92).

Mourjan Marinas IGY utilises its design, engineering, management and marketing expertise to benefit waterfronts around the world with the vision to be at the forefront of the maritime industry. The Dubai-based company is currently undertaking the full responsibility for design, construction and operation of all marinas in the Lusail City’s development in Doha, Qatar.
It also has a management role with The Wave, Muscat’s new Almouj Marina to provide every level of support from design through to development support whilst optimizing the marina for operations. At the completion of the project, Mourjan Marinas IGY will then fully manage and operate the facility and will oversee the regional and global marketing of the facility.
