The fifth edition of the Yacht Valley Tour ‘Naval Architects & Interior Designers’ was again very successful. Several international designers visited HISWA Holland Yachting Group members by following their tailor-made programme and experienced the professional status and integrity of HISWA members.
Naval Architects & Interior Designers Tour
The tour started Monday 14 November with a welcoming event at Hakvoort Shipyard and during the week the designers visited different members of their choice. The tour was combined with a visit at the METS in Amsterdam, where a speed date session was arranged. This gave subcontractors the oppurtinity to introduce themselves.
Afterwards the architects and designers got the chance to speak with the exhibiting companies on their stand. HISWA Holland Yachting Group was present with the Dutch pavilion. The group also joined the traditional `Happy hour’ in the pavilion lounge that takes place every year. This network moment was also part of the offered programme for the naval architects and interior designers.
A special canal tour on the ‘Lovers Boat’ was organised by Alewijnse to show Amsterdam by night. The tour ended Friday 18 November with a closing event at Moonen Shipyards.
HISWA Holland Yachting Group is well-known for their incoming tours for the international press and purchasers of foreign shipyards, with almost 20 years of experience on their part. In 2003, the naval architects & interior designers tour was added.
