The premier Dutch shipyard, AMELS, has successfully handed over the all-new 55-metre Limited Editions 180 motor yacht VEGA, previously known as ‘hull 468’. The brand new superyacht VEGA boasts sophisticated exterior design, created by bespoke Tim Heywood. Launched in April 2015, she arrived at the AMELS yard in Vlissingen last year, and is expected to be the third and final AMELS launch of this year.
Designed by Laura Sessa Romboli, the elegant and stylish interiors of the 55m luxury yacht VEGA provide deluxe accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 lavish cabins. These include a gorgeous master suite, three double cabins and two twin cabins. There is also accommodation for a crew of 13 members.
Lloyd’s registered, the AMELS LE 180 super yacht VEGA (hull 468) features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She can achieve a top speed of 15,5 knots and can comfortably cruise at 13 knots, thanks to her twin MTU 16V 200 M70 diesel engines.
