Designed by Alberto Mancini, new superyacht project Mangusta Oceano 50 is currently underway at Mangusta (Overmarine Group). This is the first model in the steel displacement series with completion expected in 2020. This trideck 50m/164ft motor yacht will be built with optimised interior and exterior volumes but still under 500GT.
The aft cockpit will be styled with beautiful furnishing in the private area resembling a luxury villa with amazing sea views. Located at the bow, the beach club features a transom door with two side hatches that open 180 degrees for the access to the swim platform.
The inside basin in the garage area can be filled with water, which creates a counter-current swimming pool. A Jacuzzi pool will be located on the sundeck. The sundeck is the ideal place for sunbathing, dining and lounging as it offers a dining table for 12 guests with full-beam hard top and a lounge area.
The lighting in the interior living spaces has been designed to have a light ambience during the day and a charming atmosphere at night. Alberto Mancini carefully chose the decor elements, which will be present in the yacht’s interior. These include light blue and turquoise shades of linen and silk, marbles, light shades of oak parquet, blue ash woods and brass finishes.
Superyacht Mangusta Oceano 50 will be equipped with two MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines, which will produce a top speed of 16 knots. At 11 knots she will have a range of 4,000nm, which offers limited fuel consumption.
