Mulder Shipyard reveals more details about the 36m motor yacht project, which is currently under construction with delivery scheduled in the first quarter of 2019. Mulder ThirtySix (aka BN110) will be christened CALYPSO upon her launch and will be cruising the waters of the Mediterranean next summer.
M/Y CALYPSO features masculine profile with a stylish plumb bow designed by Claydon Reeves, and with naval architecture using the Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen. Thanks to the twin 847 kW engines, the yacht will have a maximum speed of 16.8 knots, excellent seakeeping capabilities due to the slender hull and long waterline.
Her interior is the work of John Vickers, who created the bright and airy spaces for getting together, unwinding and dining in style. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows ensure plenty of light indoors and a folding side balcony provides unobstructed sea views.
The main deck hosts a spacious salon with dining, lounge and bar areas, while aft deck offers plenty of shaded alfresco seating possibilities. Above on the sundeck is a vast seating area, another alfresco dining space, as well as Jacuzzi with sun pads.
Aft of the lower deck is the beach club, which is large than most on motor yachts of the same size. It includes ample seating, day head and shower.
a 6.25m tender can be stored in the tender garage, which also has plenty of space for two jet skis, kayaks, seabobs and diving gear.
Last year Mulder Shipyard delivered two award-winning superyachts SOLIS and DELTA ONE.
