The newly evolved superyacht P100 concept design for the WallyCento racing class has been proudly unveiled by Philippe Briand Naval Architecture and Yacht Design. Luxury sailing yacht P100 concept is a striking 100-foot vessel of supreme style and comfort, providing a previously unattained level of performance in the class. It is perfect for sailing in Porto Cervo or participating in the Bucket regattas.
“We considered the merits of each element in the P100 design, using technological advancements and through analysis to create a truly unique concept. The combination of technical enhancements and design features results in a beautiful project that promises top competitive performances,” comments Philippe Briand.
The all-new super yacht P100 concept design boasts a lower freeboard and slightly narrower beam than is commonly seen in the class. The vessel will weigh 2T less than the upper limit dictated by class rules, and is expected to be 20 seconds faster over a mile than reference yacht Magic Carpet.
The weight efficiency carries through to the interior of the P100 yacht concept, taking inspiration from sporty automotive design. The interiors are aesthetically pleasing and boast all the luxury amenities of a superyacht, yet make use of light materials in the ceiling and wall finishes to qualify for the class. The interiors feature moulded carbon fibre furniture, which is light and robust, but with a feeling of softness.
