Another successful refit project of the renowned ICON Yachts, the 41m Heesen charter yacht Seven Sins left its yard for the Mediterranean Sea this early morning. Originally expected to take a minimum of 10 weeks, the ICON Yachts managed to finish the extensive refit of the motor yacht Seven Sins within impressive 6 weeks.
Although it was such a short period, a lot has been done to bring back the sparkle of the 135 ft (42m) superyacht Seven Sins;
– Generators overhaul both sides
– Hull completely re-painted
– Underwater ship new anti fouling
– Anchor galvanized Toilet system total service all on board
– Anodes all new
– Cleaning seawater manifold
– Cleaning black/grey water tanks for certification
– Service Naiad stabilizers
– Marex check
– Remake Clean Sep system PS generator
– Welding leaks main exhausts
– Overhaul chiller system and refrigerator system
– Touch up interior throughout boat
– Overhaul anchor winches
– Small carpentry work interior
– Water maker overhaul
– Surveys of equipment with
– Flag state and ABS 2 new windows in superstructure
– All portholes overhauled, repair of leaks
– New exhaust valves Overhaul hull valves
– Cleaning of air ducts and galley duct
– Service tender and jet ski’s
– New teak on swim platform
– Re -caulking parts of deck
The highly trained team of specialists, led by the experienced Project Manager Jacob de Boer made it possible that all this work could be done in such a short timeframe.

With M/Y Seven Sins, the yard has completed a total of 8 refit projects in the last 18 months.
