Set to start in less than a month, the annual Newport Charter Yacht Show will be once again held in the Newport Yachting Center. Scheduled from June 17 to 20, the event represents the only one of its kind in the U.S., boasting a collection of world-class luxury charter yachts, measuring from 80 feet up to the super yacht size of 150-225+ feet.
The event annually welcomes hundreds of attending charter yacht professionals in search of the perfect size and fit for their clients. In its 31st year and only its second under management of Newport Exhibition Group, the show already has 30% more registered yachts and vendors than at this time last year.
The 151-foot luxury charter yacht Katya and the brand new 129-foot motor yacht Safira, which will be making their charter show debut at the Newport Charter Yacht Show.
The charter industry professionals to whom the show caters exclusively include agents, owners, brokers and captains. Consumers are invited to attend if accompanied by a broker. To help attendees become even more familiar with the yachts, they are invited to participate in educational Seminars, flavorful Culinary Competitions and vibrant “Yacht Hops.”

The week kicks off with a Captain and Crew Reception, sponsored by Newport Shipyard (Sunday, June 16 at 6:00 p.m.) in the Hospitality Lounge (open daily), which is sponsored by West Marine Megayacht Supply. In the Show Office, complimentary coffee and tea (available daily from 8 a.m. to noon) is sponsored by Marsh Private Client Services. The Culinary Competition is organized and sponsored by The Captain’s Concierge.
For the second consecutive year, the non-profit YachtAid Global has been named the show’s charitable partner. The organization is dedicated to changing lives by utilizing a network of over 500 yachting industry professionals to deliver humanitarian aid aboard superyachts cruising to isolated regions around the world. A Closing Party/Fundraiser to benefit YachtAid Global will take place on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the Sunset Terrace Tent on the show site.
