Developed for a Russian client, the latest Ocean Series 45m motor yacht concept by Bray Yacht Design is a dramatically beautiful vessel, featuring a much more European flair than most of the studio’s designs. The 45m Bray superyacht concept was made for entertaining with a formal main salon, a more casual library/lounge with fireplace as well as a splendid forward dining room.
The 45m Bray luxury yacht concept has a large owner’s apartment on the upper deck which extends out onto a private deck. There is also a huge walk in closet and very spacious bathroom. Directly forward is a stateroom for family or security personnel. The captain’s cabin and ship’s office are both right behind the bridge.
The main deck has great outdoor space with large glass doors that open up into the main salon. The library/lounge has large panoramic windows. Forward are the galley and the main dining room.
Below decks are four large guest staterooms while forward there are accommodations for eight crew and a crew lounge. Aft of the engine room is a yacht tender garage housing a 23 ft. runabout as well as jet skis.
The flybridge of the 45m Bray superyacht has large sun pads, lounging space, a dining area, barbeque and bar. A hardtop for sun shade is provided over the central area.
The super fuel-efficient, semi-displacement hull form of the 45m Bray yacht has been thoroughly tank tested with Bray latest hull technology to ensure superior powering characteristics and seakeeping. The hull is a conically projected, double chined form with wide spray knocker, flared bow, and a transom stern. It is longitudinally framed with wide spaced transverse frames for maximum strength.
The 45m Bray superyacht concept has in excess of a Trans-Atlantic range at 12 knot cruise as well as being capable of higher semi-displacement speeds for local cruising.
