95m luxury motor yacht Indian Empress built by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco Yachts has undergone a W5.2 service on her two main engines (20V1163TB93), performed in Malta by the engineering team of Melita Power Diesel (a member of Melita Marine Group), within a record time frame of 7 weeks.
A project of this magnitude has never been undertaken within such a short timeframe, however the combined efforts and dedication of all personnel involved made the imposed deadline and budgets achievable.
Oceanco 312´ luxury yacht Indian Empress´ captain Jari Lindgren said, “I would like to once again thank you and your team for the major effort of executing our speedy departure that would not have been possible without your invaluable background assistance and contacts. If not for you, I would probably still be waiting for completion of engine overhaul, bunkers and firearms. I’m very grateful for your help and cooperation, please convey my deepest respect for your team. Surely we will meet again in April when we return from Asia, meanwhile I hope you will have an enjoyably mild winter.”
Melita Marine Group was formed in 1993 and has facilities to repair and refit yachts up to 150 meters.
