In a busy year for the large luxury yacht builder Oceanco have launched their new 88.5 metre motor yacht Y715 in Alblasserdam, near Rotterdam. The yacht’s name is yet to be publicised and this is the first time the boat has been openly revealed by Oceanco. She is to be finished, tested and sea trialed before being delivered to her owner in 2017. All images of the yacht’s launch are courtesy of and © by Dutch Yachting.
The yacht’s hull and superstructure arrived at Oceanco’s facility in Alblasserdam for finishing in May last year. The exterior of The 88.5m/ 290.35ft Y715 superyacht was designed by Sam Sorgiovanni Designs which also designed the Oceanco yachts Anastasia and Nirvana.
With a beam of 14.2m and a draft of 3.9m, the superyacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and has an estimated internal volume of ~ 2,950 GT. She will have an approximate maximum speed of 19 knots and cruising speed of 16 knots.
She is likely to accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 cabins and as well as around 27 crew members.
