In collaboration with Dennis Ingemansson Design, Oceanco has recently revealed its impressive new 90m design. SUNNY MEMORIES has strong design features drawn from modern trends, including stark contrasting tones and large, rounded angles and gentle curvature.
SUNNY MEMORIES is able to accommodate 14 guests over 7 cabins: 1 master suite and 6 double cabins, all of which are located on the main deck. The cabin arrangement provides convenient access to a spacious saloon and dining area which opens onto the pool deck and sunpads with sea access.
The upper deck is dedicated to the sole use of the owner for both business and leisure purposes. Surrounded by large windows in every direction, the owner’s suite contains an expansive office, lounge and entertainment room as well as a personal gym and massage room. A private whirlpool on the foredeck adds to the opulence of this secluded personal paradise.
“Her lines are inspired by the ‘Belle Epoque’ period,” Dennis Ingemansson commented when describing the inception of SUNNY MEMORIES’ design. “Art Nouveau emerged from this period, which was characterised by optimism, regional peace, economic prosperity and technological, scientific and cultural innovations. This unique and largely decorative art movement distinguished by its curvilinear forms and nature-inspired motifs, is what I wanted to sketch: elegant and sleek timeless exterior lines with classic and modern detailing. And still with my eyes closed, the dancing lines progressed into a beautiful superyacht design.”
SUNNY MEMORIES will be powered by two 4,830 hp engines to achieve a maximum speed of 18.5 knots. Although her interior designer has yet to be announced, BMT will work in collaboration with Oceanco to complete her naval architecture.
