CCN is excited to announce that they have signed an order for the new 40-metre expedition yacht K40, destined for an American Owner. Moreover, the Avenza-based shipyard has also launched the all-new Fuoriserie line of fully-custom vessels.
The new vessel features exterior design and naval architecture by Floating Life and Studio Sculli from Sarzana. Construction is expected to start this month.
Designed for long-range cruises across the Mediterranean Sea, but also the oceans, all the way up to the coldest seas, M/Y K40 features a steel hull, reinforced for the ‘Light Ice’ class, while the superstructure is in aluminium. She boasts modern, essential lines, with a few more classical touches.
The interiors are sober and extremely bright, with light shades and a perfect blend of wood, lacquered surfaces, as well as fabrics. There is also a service pantry on all decks, a beach area with a movie theatre, a changing room and storage space for diving equipment, outdoor areas with dining tables and sunbathing sofas, a BBQ and a fully-equipped bar area on the sun-deck.
The Fuoriserie line marks CCN’s debut in the world of one-off projects, which respond to the customers’ need for fully customized yachts. Furthermore, the new line highlights the shipyard’s amazing flexibility and ability to meet the most diverse needs and requirements.
