OTAM has announced the delivery of the sixth hull in the Otam 80HT series, now named motor yacht ATTITUDE. The latest yacht includes a number of innovative features developed by the Yard in collaboration with Umberto Tagliavini of Marine Design & Services.
ATTITUDE boasts a new foredeck design with a large sunbed as well as a table adjustable in height. This entire area can be adjusted to the owner’s needs, with snubbed cushions creating a backrest while retaining the original profile of the yacht. This space is also protected by a Bimini when needed.
The cockpit is another area that has been customised to the owner’s wishes. It features a u-shaped sofa in the aft cockpit, with a layout allowing for access from the port companionway only. This allows for an increase in the seating area which can now seat up to ten guests around the table, while there is an additional sunbed atop the transom.
A larger tender garage has also been installed which can now store a 3.95m Williams sports jet tender, which is quite unique for an 80ft yacht. The tender is certified for a certified payload of six people.
A third crew cabin has been added, in order to offer even better service to the owner who requested a cabin for his chief stewardess/chef to be located close to the galley for a more convenient access. The galley is equipped with Miele appliances, which is well beyond the standard specifications. There are a full-sized dishwasher, a large fridge and freezer and a washing/dryer machine in a separate alcove.
When it comes to the common spaces, the main saloon is spacious and open plan, including a well-integrated helm station, plenty of seating and wine cellars integrated into the chaise lounge.
The accommodation includes a beam-wide owner suite located amidships, a twin guest cabin in the port side and a second master cabin forward. The ceiling height in the latter is 2.10m, which is quite remarkable for a sports yacht of this size.
ATTITUDE has been constructed to perform with exceptional efficiency. She has been fitted with two MTU engines of 2600hp each, together with Arneson drives, reaching a fantastic top speed of 47 knots. She also features patent-protected 6-blade propellers by Rolla exclusively created for OTAM.
