Otam Yachts has expanded its series of superyachts with the Otam 115, a concept created in conjunction with Alessio Riccobaldi and Niccolo Pasquini of R + P Architecture.
Otam Yachts is using the success of 2016-launched superyacht GIPSY (35m/115ft), which won Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts 34m to 39.9m for her design at the World Superyacht Awards 2017, as the inspiration to create another custom 115 superyacht. However, even though both yachts would have the same length, the new hull would be sleeker, designed with a slightly shorter beam and more modern outdoor living areas while the interiors would feature a more typical layout.
Guests can choose between a transom tender garage and a side-loading tender garage t maximise the space for entertaining or for water toys and tenders as desired. The rest of the lower deck layout will contain four guest staterooms taking up a total of 70m, while the crew quarters will house six on the lower deck and the captain in his or her cabin on the bridge deck.
Outdoor living is carefully considered with a range of options available to ensure privacy, including a 30m foredeck, a generous upper deck aft that could also be used to store tenders, and a sundeck of 50m with a Jacuzzi, sun pads, shaded alfresco dining and a bar.
