The outstanding 63m ISA charter yacht MARY-JEAN II has recently completed a three-month refit at the Monaco Marine La Ciotat, which included a paint job and a 5-year survey. The video below, released by Monaco Marine, shows the re-launch of luxury motor yacht MARY-JEAN II, available for mega yacht charter in the Mediterranean, Europe and the Caribbean.
Monaco Marine’s Robyn Santa Maria comments: “A full paint job on a superyacht of 60m+ is a major challenge in itself . It is projects like this on which Monaco Marine La Ciotat thrives so it was a real pleasure for our team to work with Captain Ewan Patterson and his crew onboard MARY JEAN II, as well as yacht manager Stephen Heads and paint surveyor Rory Marshall, during the yacht’s recent shipyard period. The yacht underwent her paint makeover inside our 90m custom-built paint shed where atmospheric conditions such as temperature and dust are tightly controlled to ensure the best possible paint finish.
The full paint job, 5-year class survey, modification of fridge/freezer and shore power refrigeration, and some minor carpentry and varnish work in the interior were all completed within the original project timeline and budget. MARY JEAN II departed as scheduled, after almost exactly three months, shining brilliantly ahead of her 2015 summer season.”
