20th May 2016 saw the Italian Overmarine Group delivered its latest Mangusta 165 E superyacht hull number 10, which is now ready to cruise and be enjoyed by her owners. Not only a current flagship of the Maxi Open Mangusta series, she is also a beautiful style icon with timeless lines and lovely features.
The hull n.10 is the third yacht on the series which was sold to the American market in the last three years. She is characterised by the new ‘E’ (Evolution) aesthetics, as well as a four engine propulsion system which was introduced by the yard to continue with its programme of constant research and innovation.
This Mangusta 165 boasts an exceptional performance and great attention to consumption has been paid. She also offers an overall on board wellbeing and comfort, both at anchor and underway, thanks to her new gyroscopic stabilisation system.
Her new aesthetics are characterised by more aggressive looks, muscular lines and striking glazing on the main deck, where a single pane of glass has been used for the saloon area, providing exceptional visibility from inside and allowing plenty of natural light to penetrate the interiors.
The yacht’s elongated flybridge offers an aesthetic grill astern providing the yacht with an even greater dynamic thrust.
She has been fitted with four 2600HP MTU 16V2000 M94 engines, 4 Rolls Royce/KameWa NP water jets and four Seakeeper stabilisers. This results in a similar performance as that on the previous yachts, hover with a lower consumption and greater onboard comfort, even at lower speeds.
The interiors have been customised to the owners’ wishes. Overmarine is also constructing the hulls number 11 and 12, which will be launched next year.
