Mangusta Yachts (part of Overmarine Group) has ended 2020 on a high with the sale of a luxury yacht from the Mangusta Oceano and Mangusta GranSport lines, both of which feature an exterior design from Alberto Mancini.
The Mangusta Oceano 43 will be the sixth hull in the series and is to be named PROJECT COMO while under construction. Notable features include an infinity pool on the foredeck, a spacious beach club with the transom door folding down to create a 45m²/484ft² swim platform over the water. The Master Suite on the main deck forward has its own private fold-down balcony controlled at the touch of a button, and PROJECT COMO will make excellent time and cruise far and wide with her speed of 11 knots and range of 4,500 nautical miles.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 will be named PROJECT PONZA and was sold to a European Owner who will personalise the interior and exterior spaces to match his tastes. Quadruple 4 Volvo Penta D13 da engines of 735 kW and 1, 000 HP each will be coupled to four IPS pod drives to give a top speed of 24 knots. She will also have a 40m²/132ft² Master suite on the main deck, full-height windows in the main salon, a 56m²/184ft² flybridge and an infinity pool on the foredeck.
The Pisa shipyard is currently constructing PROJECT COMO, while PROJECT PONZA is being constructed at the Viareggio facilities. Both have a delivery set for summer 2021.
