The new Oyster 625 sailing yacht Blue Jeannie was launched in fine style during a party at Oyster Marine’s annual Private View event, held at St Katharine Docks in London. On a beautiful spring evening, owner John Bowley, for whom the new Oyster 625 yacht Blue Jeannie, is his first Oyster, carried out the formalities with the traditional smashing of a bottle of champagne on her bow, assisted by his parents and family. Also present was Oyster 625 designer Rob Humphreys and his wife, Jo, who had styled the interior furnishings.
Reaction to the striking, new design of the Oyster 625 yacht which has a number of innovative new features was that she is a resounding success and another major step forward for Oyster. One of the innovate features includes triple ‘seascape’ windows in the saloon – a real superyacht feature, which fills the saloon with light and gives a fantastic view over the water while seated below deck.
Those attending the launch of the sailing yacht Blue Jeannie also had an opportunity to view the fleet of seven new Oyster yachts on display, including a new Oyster 72, which had been dressed for the show with a stunning collection of soft furnishings by the Harrods Design Studio.
The Oyster 625 Blue Jeannie will be on display later this year at the Southampton, Cannes and Genoa boat shows and is available for charter.
