Three years after the first Oyster 885 luxury charter yacht Lush was unveiled to the world at the Southampton Boat Show 2012, just prior to her circumnavigation on the first Oyster World Rally, Oyster is thrilled to announce that they have signed a contract to build Oyster 885 sailing yacht Hull no. 8 with a very special layout – the first Oyster 885 Lower Saloon version. The eighth Oyster 885 Lower Saloon yacht is due to be launched in 2017.
The Oyster 885 is available with two different superstructures dramatically changing the headroom in the saloon. The first Raised Saloon version – superyacht Oyster 885-04RS – was delivered to her owner earlier this year and hull number 07, also a Raised Saloon version, is expected to be delivered in Spring 2016. All the rest have been variations on the Deck Saloon version.
The “Lower Saloon version with the Raised Saloon Superstructure” of the latest Oyster 885 superyacht Hull no. 8 will provide nearly 8 foot of internal headroom in the saloon. The vessel will mix up an amazingly generous saloon with the Seascape vertical windows, just like the Oyster 825 super yacht Maegan (pictured below). Moreover, the existing Oyster owner has chosen to use one of the aft guest cabins to extend his master stateroom and provide a private, personal space to relax.
