Preparations for this year’s 29th annual Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), which is set to kick off on Sunday 23 November, are in full swing, with a strong line-up of 226 participating boats. The prestigious British luxury yacht builder, Oyster Yachts, will have once again an amazing fleet of 13 yachts, gathering in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
Topping the table on customer service, the Oyster support team have been checking and servicing systems and kit to assist owners and crew to make the 2,700 nautical mile journey to Rodney Bay, St Lucia.
The comradeship within the 13-strong Oyster fleet was evident and in full-swing at the Oyster owners’ party at the Santa Catalina Hotel, Las Palmas and this is set to continue with crews keeping in daily contact with each other on the radio and internet during the crossing to the Caribbean.
The majority of ARC boats will arrive in Rodney Bay between 10 – 15 December with the official finish line closing on 19 December, followed by the prize giving ceremony on 20 December.
