Pendennis appoints Helios Maritime Aviation for BRM courses

As part of its on-going development of the highest quality training facilities, Pendennis has appointed Helios Maritime Aviation to carry out Bridge Resource Management (BRM) courses for superyacht crews. Working closely with Pendennis, Helios has created the first BRM course designed specifically for superyacht crews. The two day courses are designed to take the entire superyacht crew through all aspects of safety, teamwork and joint and individual effectiveness. Approved third parties can obtain a license to the BR24PC SDK and create PC-based software that utilizes Simrad Yachting’s award-winning Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radome technology. Potential applications include on- and offshore security, unmanned vessels, military (stationary and moving), river navigation, boundary surveillance, fish-farm monitoring and oilrig ship-docking management.
