Palumbo Group is thrilled to announce that Palumbo Marseille Superyachts ITM has officially restarted its activity, following the reopening two months ago. April 1, 2014, saw an impressive 85-metre Superyacht enter the dry-dock of Palumbo Marseille Superyachts ITM, representing the latest acquisition by Palumbo Group.
The Superyacht Yard, acquired less than 2 months ago by the Italian Group Palumbo, is now fully operative.
Palumbo team worked very hard in the last couple of months to make this possible, enabling its skilled workforce to work in the best conditions.
The entire works have been carried out by local manpower bringing back the Yard at the success gained in the past.
At the moment the yard covers an area of about 12,000 square metres, comprising 4 four large dry docks ranging from 80 up to 126 meters a covered (yard) shed of about 95 meters and more than 300m of quays for afloat repairs.
Palumbo Marseille Superyachts ITM counts a French/English and Italian speaking team of skilled project managers who are able to follow every yacht refitting project from a to z.
With the ITM Marseille acquisition, Palumbo now manages an extended platform comprising 14 dry-docks (six of them fully dedicated to superyachts) ranging from 40 metres up to a maximum of 360 metres in length, more than one kilometre of quays and an operational area covering about 520,000 square metres, offering a substantial range of products to the general maritime, ship repair and yachting sectors from its network of shipyards in the centre of the Mediterranean.
