September 26 at the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show was marked by the kick-off press conference of the “2015 YACHTING SHANGHAI THE INTERNATIONAL MARINE EXPO“. The event represents the first park-type yacht festival in Asia, organized by Shanghai Yuanzhou Culturals Communication Co., Ltd. It will also be the unique yacht extravaganza in China that focuses on yacht trade.
Many important guests from China and abroad were invited to this press conference, including Anna Chromy, a national-level artist of Monaco; Shen Bin, representative of Expo Shanghai Group; Wang Yuan, CEO of Shanghai Yuanzhou Culturals Communication Co., Ltd., and Li Yuyan, General Manager of Shanghai Yuanzhou Culturals Communication Co., Ltd.; Alex, CEO of BluInc Media; Emmanuel DELARUE, CEO of NDA Group; and more. Anna Chromy expressed that at the “2015 YACHTING SHANGHAI THE INTERNATIONAL MARINE EXPO,” she would bring more European arts and culture to China. At the press conference, Li Yuyan introduced that the Expo would be held during Jul. 8-12, 2015 in Shanghai, China. She also said that the aim to build Shanghai into a city of yacht trading resulted in the first park-type yacht festival in Asia that combines the water and the land. In addition, it would also be a good opportunity to popularize marine culture among the entire population.
At the conference, Mr. Shen Bin mentioned that Shanghai was selected as the host city of the World Expo in Monaco in 2002, and this Marine Expo would further enhance the friendship between Monaco and China. Ms. Wang Yuan, CEO of Shanghai Yuanzhou Culturals Communication Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Shanghai Major League Yacht Club stressed that “2015 YACHTING SHANGHAI THE INTERNATIONAL MARINE EXPO” would strive to create a new B2C or B2B yacht business platform and make concerted efforts to create a grand gathering serving as the benchmark of the yacht industry.
Located at the mouth of Yangtze River, Shanghai enjoys unique geographical advantages, and it is also the No. 1 economy-developed province and the city of fashion. In the future, Shanghai will become another global yacht culture center following Monaco.
