Pendennis shipyard will be cheering two of their custom-built superyachts on as they will take part in the 2016 Superyacht Challenge Antigua, taking place from 28th to 31st January. The 42,42m (1399’17”) ketch Rebecca and the 40m Dubois-designed Sloop TENAZ (ex. Mamamouchi) will join the fleet of eleven yachts racing along the spectacular Caribbean coastline of Antigua.
In addition, the Pendennis team will be also supporting the 38-metre charter yacht GLORIA, built by the Jongert shipyard in 1985. GLORIA visited the UK shipyard on a number of occasions to undergo refits at both the Falmouth and Palma facilities.
The 6th edition of the Superyacht Challenge Antigua attracted eleven wonderful ocean-going yachts, that will participate in this exciting three-day competitive racing. The regatta is a manifestation of sailing and parties dedicated to pure fun afloat and shore in a relaxed atmosphere, with no commercial endorsements.
