Both built by the prestigious UK shipyard Pendennis, the 55m sailing yacht Adela as well as the 42m Rebecca yacht will attend this year’s Antigua Superyacht Challenge. This will be hosted by the fabulous Antigua yacht charter destination, positioned in the Caribbean, from January 29 to February 1, 2015.
Amongst an impressive 2014 fleet of 8 superyachts each over 80ft LOA, superyacht Adela finished in first position. She performed excellently across the whole week, finishing in the top two after each race. The results table from the 2014 Regatta can be found on results section of the Antigua Superyacht Challenge website.
The racing in this event adheres to the International Superyacht Rule, formerly the Bucket Rule, administered by Jim Teeters. This is the same set of rules that is applied at Pendennis’ biennial Pendennis Cup, which both luxury yacht Adela and sailing yacht Rebecca have attended in past years.
Pendennis wish both yachts a fantastic week of racing in the Caribbean!
