The restyling of the perininavi.it website was dictated primarily by the desire to create a single portal capable of keeping users up-to-date on news from the Perini Navi Group’s two distinct brands, Perini Navi and her sailing yachts and Picchiotti and her motor yachts. The objective is to highlight the image of the Group’s two shipyards and promote brand awareness in line with the values that have always distinguished Perini Navi.
Elegant design is reinforced by a structure created to make site navigation fast and easy. Thanks to a system called “My Perini”, inspired by the revolutionary, single-handed Perini Navi sail management system, navigation in this site is open, dynamic and personalized. Each user can decide autonomously how to personalize the content of their homepage and handle a large amount of information from different areas of the website, not just from the main menu.
Content has also been enriched from the previous edition. The sections Perini Navi Group, Media, Fleet, Charter, Brokerage and Refit & Repairs are now flanked by a new section called Perini Navi Cup. Another section called Perini Navi World allows users to download electronic wallpapers, to leaf through the company’s e-magazine Stream, to view a wide selection of photos and provides links to the Perini Navi Group’s YouTube channel. Shortly there will also be a section called Crew Data Base dedicated to all those who are interested in the opportunity to work on board a Perini Navi or Picchiotti yacht.
The multimedia content on the site, all of which is in Italian and English, is compatible with the most widely used software both on mobile and on desktop devices. The easy and immediate fruition both from smartphones and the newest tablets has been one of the main objectives and the portal has been created keeping the Perini Navi Group’s desire for swift adaptation to rapidly changing technology as one of its primary goals. In line with the latest advances, the website uses xhtml strict 1.0 language and is handicapped accessible through the use of w3.org.

The Perini Navi Group is proud to currently have a fleet of 50 yachts, 49 of which are sailing yachts plus its new Picchiotti motor yacht, on the water. The Group is the world leader in the design and production of large sailing yachts. In the year 2007 the Group began constructing the Vitruvius series of motor yachts under the brand name Picchiotti, reviving a historic shipyard acquired in the early ‘90’s. The Perini Navi Group is comprised of many companies: Perini Navi was founded in the eighties by Fabio Perini after he invented and patented a revolutionary automatic sail handling system. The Picchiotti shipyard in La Spezia is also part of the Group and it is here that motor yachts are constructed and major refittings of both Perini Navi Group and other yachts are undertaken. Perini Istanbul in Yıldiz, Turkey is where hulls and superstructures are constructed, and Perini Navi USA is a commercial structure where Perini Navi and Picchiotti owners can turn for brokerage and charter services.
