Sailing yacht SEVEN was christened and launched in Viareggio, Italy, on Saturday the 5th of August. The ceremony took place in front of owners, their family and guests as well as the shipyard shareholders, employees and suppliers.
Naval architect Ron Holland worked in conjunction with Perini Navi to create her sleek aluminium hull and Dante O. Benini & Partners designed her interiors.
Aluminium ketch SEVEN is the 62nd build from the yard and the third superyacht of 60m/170ft built by the yard, joining SEAHAWK and PERSEUS^3.
Perini Navi CEO and Chairman Lamberto Tacoli commented on the event:
“The launch of S/Y Seven is a moment of great joy: The realisation of this project represents an important achievement for the shipyard, in which we worked in close synergy with the owners. This is also the first launch since Perini Navi entered into the partnership agreement with the Tabacchi family and is testament to how the company has kept its core values intact, while at the same time strengthening the brand’s position as a world leader in Italian excellence.”
Sailing yacht SEVEN will join other recent superyacht launches at the Monaco Yacht Show this September to make her public debut.
