Global marine transport provider, Peters & May, is delighted to announce that it has recently joined the British Marine Federation (BMF) as a new member of the trade association.
Many of the membership benefits provided by the BMF are of interest to the world leading global marine transporter but in particular the opportunities provided by the BMF’s international programme. Assistance with exhibiting and networking at the Dusseldorf Boat Show – which Peters & May is exhibiting at (hall 7a) and the unique business introductions available at the new Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence, being organised for April 2015, are just two immediate areas that Peters & May will take advantage of.
Peters & May, already a major player in both the commercial and superyacht sectors, is keen to build on the traction it has and sees the investment in BMF membership as a next step in its continuing growth in these areas.
David Holley, CEO of Peters & May said: “We are looking forward to utilising the many benefits of BMF membership. As with our investment in specialist cradles, lifting equipment and loadmasters to keep up with the demand for our growing superyacht shippings, we also see investing in the support structure of the BMF and its team as an important step.”
By working closely with BMF associations, BMF Commercial Marine and Superyacht UK there are even more ways for Peters & May to grow its business.
Hayley James, Head of Member Relations at British Marine Federation said: “We are really excited to be working with the team at Peters & May again and to maximise the value of membership. Peters & May is keen to get involved in the BMF committees which drive our work; it’s great to hear their enthusiasm.”
