Launched in 2012, the fabulous 67,27-metre DRIZZLE yacht was constructed by the renowned Dutch shipyard, Feadship at their Koninklijke de Vries Shipyard in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands. She was spotted by Roberto Malfatti photographer in Livorno, Italy at the end of June. Luxury yacht DRIZZLE was built for owners who were inspired by the 2005 launched super yacht Issana (ex Drizzle, Twizzle); of which they were the second owner and had renamed her Drizzle.
The 2012-built superyacht Drizzle is, however, a completely custom built vessel to the clients’ specific desires, resulting in a splendid vessel, almost 12 m longer and proportionally wider, higher and deeper; yet still preserving the beauty of the original 55m De Voogt Naval Architects‘ design.
Drizzle’s exterior lines reflect a superior blend of classic and contemporary, with a traditional low profile and modern feel. Her stylish, warm and rich interior was created by Redman Whiteley Dixon. The interior has a feeling of real home-away-from-home and has a broad appeal, while being completely unique.
Crew quarters were taken to an extraordinary quality level even by Feadship’s standards, reflecting the owner’s concern for crew welfare and a desire that crew facilities should be finished to the highest possible standard.
Luxury superyacht Drizzle accommodates her guests in five lovely and comfortable staterooms, taken care by a crew of 18. She is driven by two MTU 16V 4000 M53R diesel engines.
