Built by the Italian shipyard Cantieri di Pisa and launched in 2012, the nearly 47m motor yacht Project 12 is an excellent high-performance yacht, from the yard’s Akhir range. Featuring naval architecture by the shipyard’s in-house team in collaboration with Arrabito Naval Architects, Project 12 yacht has striking exterior by Galeazzi Design and luxurious interior by Mark Berryman. The yacht is currently in the Port of Livorno in Italy and was photographed by Roberto Malfatti.
Project 12 superyacht was constructed to comply to MCA and ABS standards and is powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines. Top speed achieved by the yacht is 24,5 knots and she has a cruising speed of 22,5 knots.
The well created layout and design take full advantage of the yacht’s volume to offer plenty of living space throughout. Her full-beam sky-lounge located on the upper deck is an excellent feature, boasting large sliding doors to port and starboard and bulwarks that fold down to create a balcony on each side with spectacular 180° views.
There are comfortable seating areas, a bar and a separate music or library area in the main saloon of the Project 12 yacht, located aft of the formal dining room. Other important features are a floating glass staircase that leads from the main deck up, boasting a large skylight overhead, illuminating the interior. Interior is natural and modern, finished in limed teak, leather and marble, offering elegant and understated backdrop.
Luxury yacht Project 12 offers a versatile accommodation layout in 6-7 staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, situated on the main deck. It is accessed through a large study / lobby area and has twin en-suite bathrooms with two separate walk-in wardrobes. It also provides excellent views to enjoy.
Additional accommodation in provided in a fantastic, full-beam VIP cabin, featuring a separate lounge area, completely separable from the principal stateroom with soundproof sliding doors; thus converting this large area into two separate double staterooms. There are also two double and two twin staterooms, each with additional Pullman berth.
