PIMEX 2011 is set to be the biggest on record. While visitors are expected to number 6,000 plus, the number of exhibitors have already exceeded those in previous years. More exhibitors than ever before are taking part in the 2011 Phuket International Boat Show and organisers see this as a good sign for the regional marine industry at large.
“We’re very happy to see so many exhibitors, marine and lifestyle, taking part in this year’s PIMEX. It’s a good sign for the Show, for Phuket and for the regional economy, and we are expecting a good turnout from visitors.” commented Show Director, Andy Dowden.
PIMEX has become the leading Boat Show in Asia and showcases not just boats and marine products, but also showcases lifestyle, evidenced with three of the world’s top automobile brands exhibiting at PIMEX for the first time this year – Jaguar, Lexus and Land Rover.
Added Dowden, “PIMEX continues to grow and evolve. It has truly made its mark in Asia and continues to push the boundaries as Asia’s largest in-water Boat Show.”
With approximately 6,000 participants including over 2,000 trade visitors attending over four days, PIMEX is the place to do boating business.
